ABOUT KOONG WOH TONG
Koong Woh Tong first began its business of selling Chinese traditional herbal jelly ‘Guiling Gao’ (龟苓膏) and herbal teas, namely ‘Wu Hua Cha’ (五花茶) and ‘Ya Sei Mei’ (廿四味) in Malaysia.
Due to the remarkable healing effects of those herbal products, the business grew gradually upon efforts made by the family members generation after generation. Throughout the years, Koong Woh Tong continued to conduct its research on the authentic herbs formula with a will to keep in tune with the modern dietary habits of the customers.
As ‘Guiling Gao’ and Chinese herbal teas are believed to contain medicinal properties and have their healing efficacy, they have become popular nowadays and are well received by people from over 20 countries worldwide, including China, USA, Canada, Germany, France and some Southeast Asian countries.
Koong Woh Tong established it’s first shop in 1990 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Over the past years, the brand has grown from strength to strength and become synonymous with Chinese herbal healthcare products. There are now over 50 outlets counting within Peninsula Malaysia, mostly located within the major shopping malls and the newly acquired 8 outlets in Singapore.

With the believes of producing only the quality health products in the market, the staff of Koong Woh Tong have since 1990 tried their best in researching and developing their health products, namely Guiling Gao and Chinese herbal teas, which are a well received nationwide brand with its retail chain stores in Malaysia.
